Kosta Boda by Ulrica Hydman-Vallien The PET bottles became Ulrica’s statement piece after Björn Kjelltoft painted her signature patterns on PET bottles and on to cardboard plates at his graduation exhibition at Stockholms Konstfack. Did a designer have a patent on universal symbols and designs? Ulrica took back control by painting her significant expressions in the form of eyes and tulips, which became a limited edition named PET bottles. The limited edition became coveted functional art piece.
