    Description

    Article no.: 9789198897807

by Weibull / García Olof Palme was Prime Minister of Sweden from 1969-1976 and 1982-1986. On February 28, 1986, Olof was shot dead in the street in Stockholm. The murder was long an unsolved mystery that plagued Sweden. But at a press conference on June 10, 2020, the police's Palme investigation identified Stig Engström (the Skandia man) as Olof Palme's killer. However, they gave no account of how the murder of Olof Palme took place. This graphic novel shows in detail what happened the day the Prime Minister was murdered and how Stig Engström planned and executed the murder. The murder solution is developed by Joaquim Weibull based on the interrogation protocols from the Police investigation of the Palme murder. The murder solution was submitted to the Police Palme investigation in June 2018, i.e. two years before the Palme investigation was concluded. The serialized part of the book (75 pages) is based on the popular animated short film The Assassination of Olof Palme, which has won awards at film festivals around the world. The book also includes 30 pages of evidence and clarifications of the murder solution in a separate text section with illustrations.
